Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, Ringmetall processes the data of users if they communicate with Ringmetall within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write posts on online presences of Ringmetall or send messages to Ringmetall.

7. Communication via e-mail/the contact form

Ringmetall provides the possibility of contacting Ringmetall via e-mail as well as to send messages which, at the user’s option, may contain additional personal data (e.g. first and last name, title, address, telephone number, e-mail text, context of the request) beyond the disclosure of the sender’s e-mail address. The user alone decides on the type and scope of the information disclosed beyond the E-mail address.
The data will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties without your express consent. Our subsidiaries are exempt from this, insofar as this is necessary to fulfil your request. Provided that there are no legal obligations to retain data, your personal data will be deleted after the request has been processed.
The legal basis for processing data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Ringmetall has a legitimate interest to process your data in order to be able to respond to your communication.

8. Transmission and disclosure of personal data to third parties

Ringmetall transfers personal data to its subsidiaries for the above-mentioned purposes. A transfer is made in particular if e-mail enquiries from the user (cf. section 6 above) fall within the business areas/offers of the subsidiaries concerned.
The legal basis for the aforementioned transfer of personal data is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Within the framework of rendering the website, Ringmetall cooperates with technical service providers (so-called processors), such as service providers for EDP/IT applications and web management, who receive access to personal data in order to provide these services. These service providers have been carefully selected, will only act on Ringmetall’s instructions, are contractually obliged to comply with the applicable data protection requirements and are not based in third countries. 9. Deletion periods

Access data (cf. section 2) will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless longer storage is required by law. Access data is regularly stored for a period of 30 days.
Any personal data collected by Ringmetall via e-mail/the contact form (cf. section 7) will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of the processing, i.e. regularly when the enquiry has been conclusively processed.
