Containment packaging has been our specialty since the turn of the millennium. Regardless of the manufacturer of your filling system, whether horizontally compressed or vertically folded, antistatic or even conductive, we assemble the containment packaging individually to meet your requirements. For this purpose, we will determine all relevant criteria in a joint discussion and show you all possible options.
In addition to various standard containment packaging solutions, our portfolio therefore also includes the Rhein-Plast-Special-Liner, with which we can also implement unique requirements for you.
Flexible applicability of containment packaging to comply with the REACH regulation up to OEB class 6.
Containment packaging has been developed for dust-free, closed filling and emptying of toxic, active or other sensitive products. In particular, the increasing requirements under the REACH regulation make a high focus on personal and product protection indispensable.
Since the substances to be filled do not all have the same toxicity, containment systems are divided into different classes, which are clearly shown in the following graph. OEL values (Occupational Exposure Limit) specified by law classify the substances and systems by quantifying the amount of active ingredient per standard cubic meter of inhaled air to which a person may be exposed for over eight hours without affecting their health.
With its containment packaging materials, Rhein-Plast GmbH offers the ideal product to meet the strictly controlled requirements of the REACH regulation up to OEB class 6. Since the turn of the millennium in Europe, Rhein-Plast was one of the first companies to produce continuous film packages for containment applications such as bulk material filling systems in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Our packaging is suitable for use in endless filling systems from all manufacturers and compatible with CLS liners.

Transfer bag
Rhein-Plast transfer bag systems enable the safe transfer of small quantities of powder under the high requirements of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
They can be seamlessly integrated into existing containment and clean room processes and contribute to reliable product and personal protection.
On request, the bags can be manufactured from our individually specified film qualities, which are tailored to your processes and regulatory requirements. This includes the different ISO 5, ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanroom classes available so that this packaging is optimally adapted to your hygiene concept.
In addition, customer-specific designs can be implemented with various connection options to ensure a secure and efficient connection to your existing plant and transfer system. This results in tailor-made solutions that combine flexibility, process reliability and containment at a high level.
